Greetings desert folk,
I am looking to create allies on behalf of my alliance. My alliance that I am leader of is the United Confederation of Stars. We currently only have 3-4 ish members because our government is just forming, our forums are under construction and we have not started recruiting.

My question is this:
Do you do protection pacts?

The reason for that question is simple and there is no need for me to explain because you most definitely know.

I will apply for a diplomat mask if you would like to engage in diplomacy.

We do most definitely protect growing alliances via pacts and agreements.

Tell me, what are your goals in CN?

Who do you find yourself wishing to be allied to in the future?

The goal of the UCoS is to create an alliance that can be recognised by all CN players. The alliance would be very organised yet have lots of rights reserved for members.

I think that the only way for a new micro alliance to be successful is to not be too strict to members, have a solid (unelected/permanent) government, have a protection pact with a strong, trustworthy, willing and secure alliance (that is more famous than infamous). Trade circles, technology deals, communication, friendship, trust, understanding, loyalty and courage makes an alliance.

I am currently unfamiliar with whom to call my enemies or my allies because no one has bothered the UCoS yet.
Let's say that I am a fisherman and all other alliances are fish. I have always kept the first fish and befriended it. In this situation, the Sandstorm Confederacy was the first fish I caught (well, I spotted your brown team senator in the senate election an thought "I must get to know this alliance").

There is one thing that I must point out before we do become allies...
With a lack of communication, I can become very radical in making decisions and the worse the situation I'm in, the more radical.

All I can really say is that I would like to be allied to the Sandstorm Confederacy.
I don't have anything to describe why. I just have a gut feeling that it would work.

Well your line of thinking is definitely in tract with what we like to hear here at TSC. The only mitigating factor is that Alex, one of our main gov members, is currently away. We will need him to sign anything official, but in the mean time, you can consider your alliance temporarily protected by us in an unofficial manner.

I highly suggest you write in your alliance bio that you are protected by us, and then we can work toward an official documentation and relationship as soon as Alex returns.

I must point out that a co-founder of UCoS went rogue and deleted the alliance. I have now remade it.

Don't worry, the alliance has reformed.
We may need help creating a charter that is not laughable.

We are thinking about changing the alliance name before we kick off.
We have found that it is similar to a dead alliance (UCoN)

United Confederation of Nations
and
United Confederation of Stars
is way too similar.
